The clinic's four-page website, built for review

A phone-first, four-page replacement for the clinic's website, built and verified behind a noindex preview address while the launch waits.

feature · done · updated 2026-09-22 · Clarity case study

The clinic's website is being replaced by four plain pages: Home, Treatments, The dentist and Visit. They are built and live at a preview address, so a dentist I know can open a link on his phone, with no login, and approve the site or say exactly what is wrong. Nothing a patient sees changes yet: the clinic's real domain, its old Google site and its Google listing stay untouched until the launch work order. See the review-build decision.

What the pages do

  • Four phone-first pages (Home, Treatments, The dentist, Visit), each showing the clinic's real hours, its full address and its phone number, with JavaScript off too.
  • Call, WhatsApp and Directions go straight to their target, with no link shortener and no link back to the old site. On a phone the action bar stays on screen and never covers the footer; on desktop it becomes links in the header.
  • An open or closed line that is right in India time at the 11:00, 14:00 and 21:00 edges, on Friday night and for a visitor in another time zone. With JavaScript off, no page claims "Open now".
  • An unknown address shows a not-found page, not the home page.
  • Every page asks search engines not to index it, and the review address is marked noindex.
  • Accessibility held to the same bar as the app: 44px tap targets, a keyboard phone menu, always-visible focus, contrast-checked text, and green never used as a status colour.

What is deliberately out

Prices, any rating or review count, the word "best", images from the old site, the specialist-care page (deferred), booking requests, and anything from the Clarity API. Every unknown is a visible placeholder. Only site files changed: the Clarity app, its API and its login are untouched.

Copy: the fellowship

One line of copy was corrected. The site still names the dentist's Head & Neck Oncology fellowship and where it was taken, but it no longer says how long it lasted. That was the PM's instruction on 2026-09-21: the fellowship alone is enough.

Status

Built and merged to the review epic's branch, then graded by a fresh checker context: criteria 1 to 11 passed, and the twelfth was verified live. The review address serves the four pages with no login and a noindex header, an unknown path returns 404, the app's own address still returns its login prompt, and the clinic's current domain still redirects to the old site. The launch itself (the real domain, removing noindex, redirects from the old paths) is a later work order. See overview.

This page was written by a model from my own repositories and checked by a second one against the same sources. I did not write it, and no version of it was approved by me before it went up. How that works, and where it can still be wrong.
